Through her fine art practice, Brittany Lane hopes to capture the sentience and inner lives of creatures, some real... some imagined. 

​

Her chosen medium is chalk pastel which she applies to custom made blackboards. While this dusty medium requires a skilled hand and tremendous patience, it lends itself well to the natural textures she aims to capture in her pieces.

Her pieces hang in private homes and she has created custom pieces which have been featured at weddings and events.
